Baccarat - Mini and Midi

Mini Baccarat and Midi Baccarat are faster versions of Baccarat played on a smaller table.  Baccarat has been regarded as the premier "High Roller" game for players who prefer their beverages shaken and not stirred.  Whilst the game may appear complicated at first, there are only three possible bets that may be placed - Player Bets, Banker Bets or Tie Bets.

Baccarat bets may only be made with chips, not cash.  Chips may only be purchased from the gaming tables.  Their value is clearly marked and when you leave, redeem them for cash at the Cashier's desk.

HOW TO PLAY

Two hands, each of two cards, are dealt, one called the Bankers and the other called the Players. An additional card may be dealt in accordance with the table of play button shown below. The object of the game is to bet on the hand that you believe will receive the highest total. You may also bet that both hands are equal or tie.

The highest hand in Baccarat is 9 and the lowest is 0.
Tens, Jacks, Queens and Kings count as 0.
Aces count as 1.
All other cards have their face value.
When adding the cards in each hand, only the right hand digit is used as the hand's value.

2 + 3 + 6 = 11 the hand value is 1
6 + 4 = 10 the hand value is 0
King + 7 = 17 the hand value is 7

If the first two cards dealt to either the Bankers or the Player's hand totals 8 or 9, a Natural result and no further cards are dealt. If the Banker's and the Player's hands have equal value, it is a Stand-Off and the Tie bet wins. Winning Bankers hands are paid 19 to 20 and the Tie pays 8 to 1. Player's hands are paid even money.
