Caribbean Stud Poker, a variation of the traditional American five card Stud Poker, is a very simple game to learn and play. Players bet against the house instead of each other.
Caribbean Stud Poker bets may only be made with chips, not cash. Chips may only be purchased from the gaming tables. Their value is clearly marked and when you leave, redeem them for cash at the Cashier’s desk.
To receive your cards you must be seated and make an opening bet called an Ante. If you think you have a hand that will beat the Dealer’s, you make another bet which must be exactly double your Ante. If you do not think you can beat the Dealer’s hand, you may fold and forfeit your Ante or bluff and bet that the dealer has no hand (NB in which case only Ante bets are paid).
If the dealer does not have at least an Ace and King, all players who did not fold are paid even money on their Ante bet only. When the Dealer’s hand is an Ace and King or higher, you must have a higher hand to win.
If you win, payout is according to the following schedule:
|1 pair||even money|
|2 pairs||2 to 1|
|3 of a kind||3 to 1|
|Straight||4 to 1|
|Flush||5 to 1|
|Full House||7 to 1|
|4 of a kind||20 to 1|
|Straight Flush||50 to 1|
|Royal Flush||Maximum Payout|
All tables will display a maximum payout sign.
There is an optional $1 bet you may make at the same time you place your Ante. This qualifies you for the progressive jackpot. If your hand is a flush, full house, four of a kind, straight flush or royal flush, you win a progressive payout.
Progressive Jackpots bonuses are as follows:
|4 of a Kind||$500|
|Straight Flush||10% of Jackpot Pool (minimum $1,000)|
|Royal Flush||100% of Jackpot Pool (minimum $10,000)|
