Joshua Just Takes It! WWPT!

A small turnout for poker tonight with only 18 players signing up to play, but with 30 Rebuys and 15 Addons the pot was still plump with the total settling at $2270 making a good prize pool to play for.

1st Prize: $1130

2nd Prize: $680  

3rd Prize: $460

After a two hours of playing we hit final table with a slow start to the final table with only one player being knocked out after just over an hour it began to take a strain on the way people were playing with most players pushing all-in on a flip with another player.

The last three guys decided that it would be good to make a deal for the bubble (4th) this would be $150 taken from the top three prizes paid, So this began a hand with Joshua and Jordy after Jordy had a few bad runs against Joshua earlier it seemed like Joshua was ready to finish the job with AJ vs Jordy' 89 the flop comes down Q 4 10 not a bad flop for Jordy but with Joshua still leading with Ace High, Turn an A Joshua increasing his lead with a pair of Aces, the river a 5 Sealing Jordy' Fate and sending him home with $150.

The next hand was another hand between Joshua but this time he was after Martin, Both players with average hands Martin with 35 and Joshua with J2 Flop comes A 5 10 Martin takes the lead with a pair of Fives, Turn another 10 Two pairs now for Martin, River A Turning the table on Martin and rendering his Fives useless Putting Joshua Forward with his Two pairs Aces and Tens with a Jack kicker, Sending Martin home with a nice $410.

This just leaves Joshua and Corey, with Joshua Holding a bit more chips than Corey they agree on a chop Joshua takes $1000 and Corey takes the rest ($710) And with that Joshua takes the win after all the work he did to come back from $5000 so well done to you Joshua!
