Tournament Structure:
Details:
1. The Wednesday $40 NLH-RA (“Tournament”) will take place in the Dunedin Casino Poker Room at 8pm, every Wednesday from 2 May, 2018 until further notice.
2. The game is No Limit Hold’em.
3. Registration opens at 6pm and closes at 7:45pm on the day of the event. Subject to availability, late registrations and alternates will be permitted up until the start of level 5.
4. The buy-in, rebuys and addons are $40, including a $4 registration fee.
5. The starting stack is $4,000 worth of tournament chips (T). All Rebuys and Addons will receive T4000.
6. The minimum number of players is 6 and the maximum number of players is 30 excluding alternates. The Tournament Director may alter the maximum for reasons including, but not limited to, staffing and table availability. Additional tables will be added at the Tournament Directors sole discretion.
7. Applications for entry will be recorded by Dunedin Casino and may be made by presenting in person to the Poker Room on the Main Gaming Floor.
Format:
1. All levels are 15 minutes long.
2. There is a 10 minute break after the 4th level and a 5 min break after the 9th level. Breaks will be managed at the Tournament Directors sole discretion.
3. The names of all players will be drawn by ballot or computer to determine playing position.
4. The maximum number of players per table is 10. Subject to the tournament director’s discretion, tables will be collapsed once play can commence 9 handed on fewer tables.
5. There will be a redraw for seats at the final table which will seat a maximum of 9 players.
6. During the first five levels, an entrant may rebuy T4000 if they have T4000 or less.
7. At the completion of the fourth level, all players have the option to purchase an addon.
8. The tournament will have a 20 second time clock, if requested.
Prizes:
1. The Tournament prize pool will consist of all buy-ins together with any rebuys and addons. Players will be advised of the actual prize pool break up following the first break, or the last player to be added from the waiting list, whichever occurs first. As a guide, the following placegetters will be paid, dependent on total entries and the total prize pool:
a) 6-9 players: 1st = 60%, 2nd = 40%
b) 10-18 players: 1st = 50%, 2nd = 30%, 3rd = 20%
c) 19-27 players: 1st = 45%, 2nd = 28%, 3rd = 17%, 4th = 10%
2. Dunedin Casino reserves the right to add cash to the prize pool to meet any advertised minimum prize pool guarantee.
3. The house agrees to conclude a tournament at the unanimous agreement of all remaining players. The Tournament Director may assist the execution of a deal.
